Here I am enjoying this Nebraska/Texas A&M game when Nebraska suddenly goes cold. They've got a 13 point lead and they shoot three pointers exclusively for five minutes. They let Texas A&M back into the game, and then something terrible happened. Up only one point Cookie Mills misses the front end of a one-and-one. A&M gets to the other end and misses a layup! Click on the link in the title to see a video of this happening. Nebraska throws the ball way down court, forcing one of their speedy guards to chase the ball down. And he does! He saves it to a teammate who is fouled immediately. The referees ruled he had stepped just out of bounds and so possession returns to A&M. A&M ended up winning the game on a three pointer at the buzzer. So did Steve Harley step out of bounds, or not? Well, here's some photos progressively zoomed in, you decide.








Clearly it would have been a difficult call to make correctly given how close it is, but they could have at least reviewed it. My vote is that he was inbounds. On another topic, did anyone else notice the delay from when Devin Harris caught the ball and when the clock actually started?
